What is Songless?

Songless is a music guessing game where players try to identify a song based on short audio clips. The goal is to guess the correct song title and artist with as few seconds of the song as possible.

How do you play Songless?

You’re given a short snippet (usually the intro) of a song. If you can’t guess it, you can skip or try again. Each skip or incorrect guess reveals more of the track—up to 16 seconds. You get 6 tries total to guess the correct song.

Is Songless free to play?

Yes, Songless is completely free to play and can be accessed via most modern web browsers on desktop or mobile.

How often does Songless update with new songs?

You can skip to hear a longer clip. If you still don’t know it after six attempts, the correct answer is revealed, and you can try again the next day.

Can I suggest songs or create my own Songless?

The original Songless did not allow custom playlists, but some fan-made or open-source versions support custom games or themed Songless.
